Frequently Asked Questions
In the boxes below, you will see a series of questions that I get asked frequently or that I feel need addressing to save you having to ask. Click on the links to jump to the corresponding question.
My account isn't found?
Don't worry, this more than likely means you haven't signed up.
Why do you want my hourly wage?
Simply so that InWorkAt can figure out how much you're earning. The system takes your hourly wage and multiplies it by the amount of hours you're working in that week.
Please note that InWorkAt does not take into account any deductions from your wage such as:
- Tax
- National Insurance
- G.A.Y.E (Give As You Earn)
- Student Finance
It is just an estimation so please don't take your earnings from this site literally.
How does it work?
It's simple, you sign up using a numeric user key and pin that's easy for you to remember and then you're free to log in whenever you like.
After signing up, you are able to add shifts to your rota and then edit and delete them as and when you want. This information is securely stored in an MySQL database.
InWorkAt will take your inputs for the shifts you work and then work out an estimated weekly wage.
Who made this, and why?
My name is Mark Eriksson, a 25 year-old web developer from the north west of England. You can find out more about me on my personal website.
